Interested in becoming a QWOC+ Boston Student Ambassador?
QWOC+ Boston is launching a brand new student program and would love your help!
The aim of the Student Ambassadors Program is to broaden our outreach efforts to include more youth and community members working and studying in academia, and deliver fun, informational and community-building programming to YOU right on your campus.
Wouldn’t it be loverly to have an outside queer-identified social group help facilitate student discussions, host study breaks, put on film screenings, and/or other types of events right on your campus? Would it be useful to have access access to a network of students and educators across campuses in the Greater Boston area? Are you interested in helping us build a network of peer-to-peer and adult mentors?
If you answered ‘yeah!’ to any one of these questions and are interested in learning more about the ideas we have about this program (and helping us shape it!), please email nathalie[at]qwocboston[dot]org with the following:
- School Year
- Course Major/Department/Field
- Affiliated Clubs and/or General Interests
- Why you would like to be a student ambassador (No more than 200 words)
Students of ALL genders, ethnic backgrounds, and sexual orientations are encouraged to apply!
We look forward to hearing from you!
