Celebrate our Roots through Theater and Community Fair
At the UU Urban Ministry at 10 Putnam Street, Roxbury, MA 02119. This event is free and open to all ages. Please join us for our kickoff event to our 7th annual Latino Pride. This will be a night of fun with creative pieces by members of both the Latino/a and LGBT communities. The performances will be followed by a spirited discussion on the intersections of race and sexuality, as well as a fair that will highlight local services available to our community. If you are an organization that is interested in purchasing a table at the community fair please email: firstname.lastname@example.org, prices are based on a sliding scale.
Friday October 1st
Friday night Club Take Over
Continue to celebrate our roots through our LGBT club take over. We will be dancing to some of the best Latino Rhythms at a local straight Latino club. Details to be announced September 27th.
Saturday October 2nd 7 pm – 1 am
7-9 pm: Reception and awards ceremony: join us as we award this year’s Somos Latinos community members and allies. Tickets $50/person, includes entrance to the reception, food and drinks, and entrance to the pageant. 21 + event. Proper ID required.
9 pm – 1 am: Miss Massachusetts Gay Latina Pageant: The pageant is back! Join us for an elaborate night of gowns, talent, and dancing. Vote for your favorite queen, see who the judges pick, and dance to some off the hook Latin beats! We will be having some very special hosts and guests through out the night. Tickets are $12 in advanced, and $15 at the door. 18+ event. Proper ID required. Tickets may be purchased for both events online through www.latinopride2010.eventbrite.com. This is an event not to be missed!

Closing party brunch with Unidos at Café Belô 120 Washington Street, Somerville, MA 02143
Enjoy this Brazilian Churrascaria with us as we close out the week. Menu includes a delicious buffet of Brazilian meats, sides, and desserts. Also, listen to some wonderful musical accompaniments and meet our national partner Unidos. Tickets are $15 and may only be purchased in advanced through www.latinopride2010brunch.eventbrite.com and this is an all ages event.
