From a QWOC in Japan: “I have learned that I cannot do it on my own and that as much as I perhaps took credit for what I knew and what I learned, I realize that I always had a constant source of support to fall back on. Now that these friends – my family – are many miles away, I am left to navigate this world, for the first time, as a true outsider.”

A Little Less Talk, A Lot More Action:
The Impact of Stress on Queer Women of Color
Thursday, April 30th, 2008
6:30 PM – Early Bird Tour
7PM – DINNER
7:30-9:00 PM – Discussion, Resource Fair
At Fenway Community Health
1340 Boylston St, Boston
Boundless, Queer Women of Color and Friends (QWOC+), and Queer Asian Pacific-Islander Alliance (QAPA) welcome an evening of open, honest discussion about the ways in which sexism, racism, and homophobia impact the health needs of queer women of color. Going beyond the same old discussion, come participate in making a plan of action – creating support groups, sharing strategies, and gather resources from local organizations and give your input on what needs aren’t being met.
Come early and peek around our BRAND NEW BUILDING! If you are interested in signing up for a tour at 6:30pm, contact Gillian at 617-927-6028 or gconnolly@fenwayhealth.org
Open to queer women of color and friends.
